Brief history of K-I Logistics Ltd. and Kaven-Iradis Ltd

K-I Logistics Ltd. is a new-formed company, a result of the separation from Kaven-Iradis Ltd., as a company with entirely logistics purpose. This separation brought to defining the profiles of the two companies: Kaven-Iradis in the trade field and K-I Logistics - in the logistics area.

Kaven-Iradis Ltd. is a distributing company, founded in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in 1991 with totally private Bulgarian capital. For the period 1992-1998 its general activity consist of trade with Bulgarian and foreign customer’s goods – perfumery and cosmetics, washing powders and cleaning products, paper articles, products of the chemical and perfumery industry from the biggest Bulgarian manufacturers: Alen Mak, Bulgarian Rose, Lavena, Astera, Fikosota, Joko, Lakprom, Medea, etc. Meanwhile Kaven-Iradis imports and sales the products of leading multinational companies: Procter&Gamble, Unilever, Henkel, Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Cussons.

In 1998 Kaven-Iradis Ltd. wins a national competition and becomes the official distributor of Procter & Gamble in Bulgaria. Since the summer of the year 2000 it is also a logistic partner of Wrigley and from the beginning of 2001 – official distributor of another American company - SC Johnson Wax. Since October 2001, after competition with other 40 Bulgarian companies, Shell Bulgaria chooses Kaven-Iradis for its main trade stores’ supplier / distributor. In the beginning of 2002 another world-famous company prefered Kaven-Iradis Ltd. for its official distributor and logistic partner in Bulgaria.
